Apparently there's a clause in my contract that indicates I need to stil attend the show if they change the day and time. So on Friday morning of a long weekend, I find myself at Colin's place listening to another Chat In The Hat. A fantastic way to start off Easter weekend. I thought it would be better because there was a third person adding to the conversation - but I had fogotten, it's actually worse.

Part of the problem was their focus on their own lives. People don't care about the support beams holding up Colin's building. People don't care that Colin spent last night at an Advertising Gala with his students. People don't care that it snowed last night. They kept on going on and on...

When they finally pulled a topic out of the hat - Colin wanted to talk about friendship. He mentioned something about a Disney movie The Fox and the Hound - and then really said nothing of importance from that point on.

Geoff has bought a new house! I thought for a moment that this might mean the end of Chat in the Hat - but apparently it's not far enough to dissuade both Colin and Geoff from making the trip back and forth every week.

The also had trivia this week - Easter trivia. I guess I could say I learnt a few things. But I wasn't paying attention when they were talking about it.

Finally Geoff got really passionate about reading books. He's now reading about two books a week. Fascinating.
