Episode 47
Fist Pump

I was not giving a fist pump after this episode. No particular reason. It just wasn't very good. It had all the classic elements of a good Chat in the Hat episode. Wait - how do we know what a "good" Chat in the Hat episode is? Hmm... maybe that's the point.

There was only suppose to be one guest tonight - but the only one guest - Lisa - decided to bring along Jaclyn. She wrote an e-mail to Colin explaining her reasons: "shes pretty wicked fun... feel more comfortable not having to flu solo".

"Flu solo"? I don't even know what that means.

A good part of the show was spent talking about their travels. Lisa's been to Europe, Jaclyn and Colin have both been to Australia. It was a lot of fun listening to them go on and on about their "adventures". Colin was in a flood at Cabbage Tree Creek. Wow. The hardships he obviously endured..

Colin talked about how the world has moved two minutes closer to midnight on the Doomsday clock. Thankfully the Doomsday clock people haven't realised that this podcast is a sure sign of the end of the world.

Both Lisa and Jaclyn don't understand today's music - they consider themselves "classic rock" gals. This somehow lead into a Lionel Ritchie medley. Please don't ask.

Colin did his trivia again this week - which was famous movie quotes. This time the guests won. I'm not sure what that means. They all laughed a lot - seemed to have a good time.
