The Beer Festival Again?

I think Geoff said it best. "Are you joking? You want to talk about the beer festival again?"Chris MacLellan writting down the topics on Chat in the Hat. The Toronto Beer Festival, making mistakes on inflation, Snakes on a Plane, Digital Cameras, Dog Days of Summer, motivation behind Chat in the Hat. Geoff - for once we are in complete agreement. After talking about the beer festival for 20 minutes at the beginning of the show - and then talking about it some more in the middle of the show (and trying to relate it to other topics) - Chris pulls the topic "The Beer Festival" that he had put in, and starts to talk about it again.

You're right. People who haven't been to the beer festival don't get it. Talking about it for an hour doesn't make us get it any more.

Luckily (depends on your point of view) they had some other topics to discuss. My personal favourite was when Chris asked what the hosts' motivation was for starting the show. Colin said boredom. Ironic isn't it?

Geoff Rame and Chris MacLellan getting prepared for Chat in the Hat.Colin mentioned everyone seemed to be getting down and out as the summer was coming to a close, and Geoff discussed in length about digital cameras and memory cards.

Then Chris wanted to have a panel discussion on why Colin can't get a date. This made it very apparent that Chris hadn't listened to many shows.

Good news though this week. They didn't get to talk about all of their topics.
