Kate Beckinsale

It was a good news, bad news type of evening. The good news is that no one hurt themselves by thinking too much. The bad news is that no one hurt themselves.

Yet another new guest chatter, Brian, but the same result. An hour of three people talking and talking and talking. There was a time when I thought this might be fun.

But then Colin starts talking about putting up light fixtures from Ikea. As dramatic effect he gets Brian to turn on the lights - sorry Colin - this is audio - not visual. Colin then starts Brian Clarke pulling a topic from the Chat in the Hat podcast. Topics included Kate Beckinsale sort of, drinking beers in the Canadian summer, body language (or picking up girls in bars) how old is too old to have sex, Vancouver vs. Toronto.talking about how he's been drinking a lot this summer. I tried to tell him that this show would drive anyone to drink - that's what it's doing to me - but as usual they don't listen to what I have to say.

The three chatters started to talk a little too seriously at some point during the show, but it was equally as boring as the not so serious parts of the show. At least they're consistent.

Brian wanted to talk about sex - he asked the question that we have all been asking - how old is too old to have sex? Then he started talking about body language - how to pick up girls in bars basically - he said he wanted to help out Colin. Think about it Brian - it's too late with Geoff, but do you really want the other host to procreate? I can see it now - Chat in the Hat - The Next Generation (of boredom)... Thankfully Colin had a recent bar pick-up story to talk about - which really didn't go anywhere.
