Bring Your ____ To Work

Episode 22
From Quebec and Impulsive

One week after having their longest show ever, and promising to keep the shows on time, they end up having their longest show ever - and going way over the alloted time.

Geoff Ramey and Pascale Lapointe-Antunes chatting during Chat in the Hat. Topics include being impulsive and coming from Quebec, Flaming Homers, rubber sidewalks in Washington, car troubles, by laws, in-laws, my dog ate my homework.Their guest - Pascale - was interesting. For the first five minutes or so. Then it was the same as it has been for every show with one difference - and this was where I almost got up and walked out. Instead of bringing 3 topics, she brought 7... Even better - one of the topics was her views on a topic discussed in a previous week.

Some of the topics this week were really exciting - letting the listener know that they're building rubber sidewalks. I really wish they had spent more time on that one - I don't think they really explored the topic enough.

They talked about using Barcardi Rum as a flame thrower, excuses students give to get out of writing a test, dogs locking themselves inside of cars - and (this is the best) stupid things you say when you're from Quebec and impuslive. Do you get the irony here? This entire show is full of stupid things said.

In order to "speed" things up - Geoff decided to have rapid fire topics to end the show. Maybe he should try this to end the show on time - just end the show on time.
