Episode 3
The Elusive Rat-Squirrel

I was looking forward to this Chat In The Hat episode. I figured at least I wouldn't have to listen to only these two any more. And then they mentioned that Sean wasn't going to Geoff Ramey chatting during Chat In The Hat. Cell phones in movie theatres, RFID tags, the rat-squirrel, roll up the rim at Tim Hortons, binge drinking jamboree.make it that night. I think Colin called it when he said Sean had probably listened to one of the first two episodes - that would have made me run very far away.

Unfortunatley I had promised them I would chronicle their podcasts and update this site. I'm the lucky one that has to listen to this "meaningful" conversation live. At least people can fast forward the uninteresting bits - about 37 of the 40 minutes of this epsiode.

The conversation did influence me - I found out that I didn't want to get into HR or Advertising and after listening to them talk I wanted to join those students in Spain and binge drink. I found it very ironic that Geoff started to talk about how media is not really talking about "news" anymore. I don't think he's listened to his own podcast yet.

And then there was the conversation about the rat-squirrel. The face of a rat and the body of a squirrel. Fascinating. It made me wish that I was extinct and would never come back to life.
