Chat In The Hat - The weekly podcast by wacky Canadians Geoff Ramey and Colin Robey. Pulling topics from the toque about important issues that you might talk and laugh about over a pint of beer at a pub. Funny, rarely insightful, always mind numbing. Stalking might be a bit of a strong word, and you can be the judge, but Brian even works in the same building as Geoff and takes the same train to and from work.

Also a resident of Burlington, Brian spends his leisure time in suburbia enjoying life with his wife and two young children. Currently recovering from a recent knee injury that Geoff had nothing to do with, Colin and Geoff felt sorry for Brian so they finally invited him on the show to share his views and thoughts on the podcast that almost never was, and sometimes shouldn’t be.

Brian began life as a small child, growing into a medium sized teen-ager and eventually to a full sized adult. Those were tough years as Brian recalls, “I was never a person who enjoyed fitting into the norm. I always liked to seek a challenge, even if it meant hurting someone else, or maybe not hurting anyone at all. There were numerous occasions when I would just sit and wonder, while sitting.” As tears would come to Brian’s eyes, he continued with, “I wondered what would happen if I could ever be anything but normal. To have the opportunity to work with computers, and to have my voice heard, at least once in my life, for at least 45 minutes to an hour.”

Brian and Geoff met some time ago in the wee hours of a Saturday morning dad’s play group. (A dad’s group where the kids play, really) Since that time, Brian has followed Geoff around, week after week trying to get on the show.
